• Tawheed (or Tawhid) is the fundamental Islamic concept of the absolute oneness of God (Allah), meaning He is indivisibly one, having no partners, equals, or rivals. It is the core principle of Islam, encompassing belief in God's unique divine nature, His sole right to worship, and His exclusive role as Lord and Creator of everything. This concept is central to the Muslim declaration of faith, the Shahada ("There is no deity but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger").
